OSS in Cloud : Expanding the Service Provider Business Beyond Borders
To compete effectively against Over-the-Top (OTT) players, Communication Service Providers are faced with revenue generation and customer growth challenges. Surmounting these challenges requires the deployment of an agile and adaptive OSS/BSS infrastructure that caters to new business models, processes, and service delivery approaches in a cost-effective manner. What best exemplifies these challenges is the implementation of
M2M, MVNx, and Wholesale Services strategies. Through examples and cases, learn which OSS capabilities are essential for cloud based infrastructures and how to scale these efficiently across international operations. MVNE and M2M require the highest uptimes mainly due to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements. M2M is typically volume-intensive as well as processorintensive. In the said cases as well as in any similar wholesale operations case, the ability to differentiate SLA management and enforcement in a single international platform requires no less than a cloud-based OSS.
